Surf lesson prices in Agadir: simple and transparent.

No packages, no subscriptions, no online payment. Two rates, one per person, the other per group — you choose. Everything is included: board, wetsuit, photos. Cash payment, on site, at the end of the lesson.

Group lesson
In a group
150 Dh / person
Small group · friendly atmosphere
Outside school holidays: weekly 2-hour lessons.
During school holidays: daily 3.5-hour lessons.
Same price either way.
Private lesson
Tailor-made
400 Dh / hour
For the group — 1 to 4 people
Flat rate for the group, not per person. From 1 to 4 participants, you always pay 400 Dh per hour in total — whether you come alone or as four. Flexible timing, outside the group-class slots.

"Hard to find cheaper anywhere else on the market."

The private lesson breakdown

This is the most flexible option — and often the most economical when you're several people, because you pay for the group, not per head. Here's how it works in practice:

400 Dh / hour, split among you

400 Dh
Alone
200 Dh
Two / pers.
133 Dh
Three / pers.
100 Dh
Four / pers.

To put it plainly: a family of four pays 100 Dh per person for an hour of private coaching — cheaper than a standard group lesson, and with my full attention on you. That's why this option is so popular with families and small groups of friends.

What's included

In every lesson, no surcharge:

No equipment surcharge, no hidden fees, no upfront registration. The advertised price is the price you pay.

Payment, also kept simple

Cash only, on site, at the end of the lesson. That's deliberate:

ATMs are everywhere in Agadir, and most hotels and riads are happy to change a bit of euros or dollars into dirhams for you if needed.

Why this model

Most surf schools sell packages: 3 lessons, 5 lessons, full weeks, all-inclusive holidays. That's their business. Mine is different: I'm an independent coach, not a surf school. Packages lock students in and force you to fill rigid templates. I'd rather you come for the quality of the session, not because you've already paid in advance.

Pay-per-session means more freedom for you, more honesty for me. If the sea isn't right one morning, we cancel without charge. If you want to stop, you stop. If you want six lessons in one week, we do six lessons.

Compared to the competition

I don't fight a price war — I don't fight wars at all. But you're welcome to compare openly: in Agadir and Taghazout, group surf lessons are typically between 250 and 450 Dh per person for 2 hours; private lessons run from 600 to 800 Dh per hour, often per person. My 150 Dh in group and 400 Dh for the private group are among the lowest rates in the region.

Not because I undercut the market — but because I don't have a school to fund, no premises to rent, no staff to pay. Hervé Pignoges, independent coach: the structure rides on my shoulders, so the price stays accessible. It's a choice.

Frequently asked questions

Really no online payment?

Really not. Everything is settled in cash at the end of the lesson. Simpler for you (no card entry) and for me (no fees). If this is a real problem, tell me on WhatsApp and we'll find a workaround case by case.

Do I need to pay a deposit to book?

No. No deposit at all. You tell me your dates on WhatsApp, we lock the slot, you come. Trust is part of the model.

What if the lesson is cancelled because of bad sea conditions?

No charge, obviously. We reschedule or cancel depending on your timing. I'm the only one who decides whether conditions are safe — that's non-negotiable.

Do you do "5-day intensive packages"?

No. No packages, no subscriptions, no preset bundles. If you want to come 5 days in a row, you come 5 days in a row and pay each day. More flexible, and often cheaper in the end than a standard package.

Student discounts, big family, loyalty?

No discount grid. The private flat group rate (400 Dh regardless of size, up to 4 people) already plays this role: at 4, it's 100 Dh each — hard to do better. For locals who surf year-round, we work it out case by case.

How do I book?

WhatsApp +212 689 101 319. Level, dates, number of people, type of lesson. We settle it in a few messages. You pay on site at the end.

The first lesson, shall we talk?

One WhatsApp message, your level, your dates. No commitment, no deposit. You decide on site.
